I figured this was coming.   I want to wait until the end of October to get the new covid vaccine, even if it is available in September, as we are traveling in November.  Maybe I will begin wearing a mask more often as not to get covid before then.  I don't think it is bad here yet.

So all the talk about A Boy Named Charlie Brown led me to Rod McKuen's album with his songs. And the songs from his other movies led me to their soundtracks.

Which is when I discovered that The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie has two albums - a soundtrack with conducting credited to Arthur Greenslade, and a music from the score album with conducting credited to Rod McKuen. Both have Rod McKuen credited as producer.

Does anyone know the story behind that? I'm guessing McKuen wanted some poppier mixes for an album on his own imprint than what worked for the soundtrack. Is that right or is there more to it? Did the soundtrack come out first, then the music from the score?

I keep seeing these Bravo ads for The Real Housewives of Orange County, so I thought I'd see if my idiot niece is still on the program. And she is, but I didn't recognize her since she's had a facelift, maybe several. I think the little chubbette has probably had liposuction as well. Her father is my brother Macbeth, the POD I don't speak to.

And she is, but I didn't recognize her since she's had a facelift, maybe several. I think the little chubbette has probably had liposuction as well. Her father is my brother Macbeth, the POD I don't speak to.

I'm thinking the problems of my greedy brother and greedy sister-in-law should have been foreseeable by the rest of our family.  When my brother told us he was falling love with a woman named Lady Macbeth, we lacked the awareness to assess the situation.
