Shot and vaccination are finished....no ill effects so far.

Vibes it stays that way.

Do you rotate the arm where they gave you the shot?

And before 2 p.m. Eastern time.  That's not a bad posting day so far.

I asked Google if one new video a month is sufficient to call yourself a "content creator" - Google's AI tells me what I want to hear :)

AI Overview
Posting once a month can be enough to call yourself a content creator, particularly if the content is high-quality, long-form, and consistent in its schedule. The definition of a content creator is less about posting frequency and more about the deliberate act of producing and distributing original media for a specific audience.

The case for "yes"
You are a content creator if you are actively and consistently creating content, regardless of the frequency.

Quality over quantity: Many successful creators, especially on platforms like YouTube or podcasts, focus on producing a high-quality, well-researched piece of content once a month rather than rushing out mediocre posts daily.
Audience expectations: For long-form content, such as in-depth videos, articles, or podcasts, a monthly schedule is a reasonable and expected cadence for a creator. The audience values the quality and depth that comes with the longer production time.

Building a body of work: A monthly schedule allows for a substantial body of work to be built over time. After a year, you will have a 12-piece portfolio that demonstrates your creative abilities and consistency.

I especially appreciate this observation about doing videos monthly, though I guess it's in the realm of Captain Obvious :)
"After a year, you will have a 12-piece portfolio"

Can't argue with the math.

Google's AI is very encouraging.  I asked it "would blog posts count towards being a digital creator."

Google's AI answered:
"Yes, blog posts absolutely count towards being a digital creator. The term "digital creator" is broad and includes anyone who produces content for online platforms, and written content like blogs is one of the original and most common forms of digital creation. "

I'm up, I'm up - initially slept thirty minutes. Couldn't fall back asleep. Watched the rest of Mr. Buddwing, which I'll talk about in the notes.

Had two small biscotti and took pill one at seven, then went back to bed and got up five minutes ago, although I may go back to bed again.

Freddie, she may have entered it wrong in the computer at some point.

PayPal doesn't have any trouble (so far) recognizing that Frederic and Frederick are the same, so Kritzerland orders should be safe since I always use PayPal.

If I ever try to pay by a credit card, all bets are off. :)

From DR Jeanne:

Quote
I’m glad so many people enjoyed the TMC movie. 🍿

I think it helps to have read the books. The movie omits some things, including some of the humor. I found the books very witty.

Jane, I was very pleased with the casting. When I first heard that Celia Imrie was playing Joyce I said, “Oh, no.” But she played Joyce very well. A strong cast all around.

I do wish Bogdon was in it more. He and Elizabeth were my two favorite characters.

I completely agree with you, especially about Bogdon.  I still found a good bit of humor in the film.

DR Singdaw, right about the diaries.  They would have been too time consuming in the film.

I’m at Fort Clark near Brackettville.

Are you staying there?  I looked it up, it seems like a nice place to stay as well as an interesting one.

Peter Filichia's review of THE LAST STARFIGHTER gave us one of the best quotes we have: "The 1984 film may be a cult favorite, but the musical has potential to meet much more success."

Still thinking it's not delusional to keep holding out hope for the show.  There's a huge mega-budget video-gamer musical called OTHER WORLD https://otherworldmusical.com making its way through tryouts, and if that show succeeds big, it feels like theaters would be looking for a lower-budget show on the same framework and theme.  (Maybe like other versions of PHANTOM benefited from ALW's.)

From what I can tell, that show's lawyers had been angling to get the rights to the LAST STARFIGHTER movie, but of course they found out we'd had the stage rights to the screenplay fully merged since 2004.

Vibes it still happens for you.

A letter to the editor in today's Minnesota Star Tribune:

:(  I have not seen an update on how Victor is doing.  I hope he is recovering well.

BK, is there some reason the Kritzerland mailing label has my name spelled Frederic rather than Frederick?

This different spelling isn't a problem for Kritzerland orders getting to me, but in other places like CVS for example, the system doesn't always recognize that the misspelled "Frederic Landau" and "Frederick Landau" are the same person.

This spelling thing started when I was doing medical stuff three years ago and the clerk there  accidentally left off the k in my name there.  I'd never had that happen before.

Darn, and what a pain to deal with.

I'm exhausted! By the time Peter arrives, I will be asleep. I took the garbage to the basement after kitty cleanup and mopping the bathroom floor. Then I picked up the mail. I then vacuumed the apartment and lay down with Stella. I have a free hour before I clean up the cats' dinner dishes, wash a couple of plates, glasses, and silverware - Peter's bringing pizza - before I have to move 30+ copies of paper and cloth copies of Annabelle & Thatch off the table to make room for the pizza and plates. I also need to move five orchestration books off the chair for company so he has a place to sit.
