Well, you've read the notes, the notes had hope and were alive, and now it is time for you to post until the alive cows come home.

I really like Jersey Mike's Philly Cheese Steak sandwich.  And their Roast Beef sandwich is quite excellent, too.

TOD:  I've liked every "Rocky" movie I've seen, and every "Planet of the Apes" movie I'd seen from the series many years ago.

"A Boy Named Charlie Brown" and "Snoopy Come Home" was kind of a franchise, and recent discussion of "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" reminded me of how much I enjoyed those on the big screen in the movie theater.

On TV, does the series of "Gidget" TV movies count as a franchise?  If so, I always watched them back in the day.

I have no news. Today is colonoscopy prep day, a day I truly abhor. Before that, I have my usual tasks: basement, mail, tidy up, and I must put away the Amazon Fresh order that ust arrived.

I finally found BK's original comments about Orphan. They are in the Notes from April 20, 2022.

Good prep endurance vibes for DR Elmore. I think most of us here know how not fun that is.

I watched the twinsauce dance video.

I've danced just like that a couple of times when I got my inheritance caught in my zipper.

I checked my laundry bin this morning and I don't have enough clothes - lights or darks - to really make a full load....so probably not until next week,

I still think the opening scene of Orphan should be cut because it gets the film off on a weird start and feels like it was forced to be there by higher-ups, whose reasoning would be that they wanted something to grab the audience right away. But it's stupid and other than giving us a bit of information that we get one scene later, it's just not what the film is. I thought the other night, I should just start the movie after it.

I had such a weird dream that the only option was to wake up. And I swallowed wrong, so had to clear my throat and get that taste out of my mouth. I'll go back to bed shortly.

I have to say the MR BK hit the nail on the head in his comments on this movie.

I kind of a got a drift of where it was going, but the trip was well worth it.

Writing was crisp, story kept moving forward at top speed, all of the actors were great in their parts.

Leading actress surely very surely should have received an AA nomination.

It was a scary movie with NO supernatural overtones or shortccuts.

I may check out the prequel.

THanks to MR BK for his recommendation. I should have known he wouldn't steer me wrong.
