Thanks for this. By "wrecking our career", I assume "the lawyer" is the one who signed off on them not being able to use either their given names or "The Turtles" in other contexts. Hence Flo and Eddie.

It was White Whale, who never signed another group who sold many records, who was responsible for Kaylan and Volman not being allowed to use the Turtles name or their own given names. White Whale is now owned by Varese Sarabande.
