Enjoying The View from Lake Como by Adriana Trigiani. It’s not what I thought it would be. And I mean that in a good way.

I just read a little of the sample.  I liked the opening.  After that I'm not too sure.  Is there humor mixed in?  Is the main character likeable?

Yes to both.

Thanks.

I used to read Nevada Barr's mysteries about the park ranger Anna Pigeon.  Every book was in a different location.

For awhile I hiked with a former park ranger who had been a park ranger with Nevada Barr.

Usually a plumber is very pleased to show up at a lady’s door and she happily lets him in and they get along famously. In movies I watch, anyway.

The Girl in 2 C. That's the title of my next novel.

Is that a prequel to The Girl in 14G? ;D

DR George, glad your rehearsal went well, and the name of your character is easy to remember.

Thanks, Jane.  But George Glossop is only one of my characters.  I'm also the minister at the end of the show (and I was also the minister at the end of Mamma Mia! :D ), and an old man and general ensemble.

Sour cream peach pie in the oven.

That sounds quite tasty!

Have you gotten to die onstage before, DR George?

I never have.

I was Jukes in Peter Pan and died off-stage, and as Hero in Forum, I tried to kill myself (quite humorously and not successfully), but no actual on stage death before. :)

I know those movies DR RODZINSKI but usually in mine it's a guy delivering a pizza.

Mine, too. ;)

I believe "The Pizza Boy: He Delivers" is about a guy delivering a pizza.

I have actually seen that movie. ::)

I don’t know why it’s sideways. But it’s good.
