Shake Shack has a new burger - a French onion burger - like the soup but a burger. I'm tempted. I've only had Shake Shack twice - Hated it the first time - second time, avocado and bacon cheeseburger, was better. And they now have onion rings.

My first Shake Shack meal experience wasn't that good, so with so many options, I never tried them again, except for desserts and drinks.

But the French onion burger sounds interesting.

Anyone ever heard the cast album of Carmilla: a Vampire Tale, done in 1972 by LaMaMa Etc? Written and directed by Wilford Leach, composed by Ben Johnston.

It only ever came out in a 1972 LP I have on Vanguard.

Around 1981, they revived it, and I saw it. It was quite strange, haunting but not particularly frightening/

I have a Facebook friend who is driving this author bats. She asked me to sell her 16 signed paperbacks for family and friends, which I was happy to do, but it's taking forever to get the 16 names out of her. Then today she tells me she really needs 25 signed copies. Only I don't have that many to hand.

Oh, that’s neat Elmore. I enjoy the atmosphere of the record. I think there was a more recent revival when I was still in NYC that I missed.

That reminds me I want to order mine and order one into my local library system like I’ve done for BK books.

What a terrific problem to have!  That's a great compliment to you!

Is she in New York?  If so, why not let her buy them, have them shipped to her, and she could bring them over to you for you to sign?

It could probably be great fun and good material for publicity for you to have a video of yourself signing all these books for her, with her right there.

:)

I'll take any Celine Dion mention as a song cue, for this Celine Dion song parody with a glorious performance by Jan Horvath:

"We're All in the Balcony Now" - Parody of "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" from the musical "Bat Out of Hell" -
https://youtu.be/smw2Qf3TIR8

(dedicated to the parody proposition that it costs so much to see shows that we're all in the balcony now - even though we know there are a LOT of people who can and will pay whatever shows cost if they want to go)

Very funny, Freddie!

I love Jan Horvath's rendition.

Al Gore Ithms

A jingle that could have swayed the razor-thin 2000 Bush v. Gore election, and we wouldn't be where we are today:

Al Gore Ithms
Al Gore Music
Al Gore's my man
Who could ask for anything more?

Bush won by 537 votes.  Certainly, such a jingle could have swayed 600 voters.

The trans message the FBI claims was scratched into the bullets - was actually TRN the trademark of the manufacturer of the bullets - a Turkish company named Turan.

F'ing idiots.

I bought some Penne and some Classico pink sauce.....I don't know if it's what MR BK uses....and I had a length of sausage - so I shall probably try cooking it this Sunday.

A Length of Sausage - possible song title for the musical version of "The Pizza Guy: He Delivers"

:o

Burger was interesting - very sweet and ultimately after the first few bites, kind of nauseating. Onion rings, on the other hand, were excellent.
