Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Many folks don't know that the original title for the song in Snow White was "Whistle While Yor Wor-dle."

I’m glad I had my line dancing fans in the car.

Not to be confused with your fan dancing lines.

Tonight, I had to go to a concessions refresher and update meeting.  Minor changes have been made, but some improvements have also been made, so that's good.

I'm working barback (assisting the professional bartenders) on Sunday, and then I'll be back as a bar-concessionaire (able to serve beer, wine, and hard cidar) on the 17th for the show by comedian Brad Williams.

We were given a coupon to get into the Columbia Clothing employee store in Portland.

Very nice, Jane!

The former dear reader known as Charles Edward Pogue just left this nice post on my Facebook page:

"BK, just finished RICHARD AND ME.  Kudos.  A warm, lovely, and loving memoir and tribute to a talented man and obviously a dear friend to you.  Sorry I never met him.  I'll have listen to LEVI again this weekend.  Hope all's well by you.  "I'm staying young"...but probably not as young as you..."

Very nice!

Pub crawls are all the rage, but I feel that the idea of a BAKERY crawl has a lot of potential.

It certainly does!  Yum! :D

While you were at a concessions refresher, I went to a church to visit the refreshments confessor.

But it ran about 50 minutes longer than it was supposed to.

Wow!

Obviously several folks up and disappeared during my years away, but what happened to the most erudite of acolytes, Charles E. Pogue?

The book Matching Minds with Sondheim, about his games and puzzles. keeps getting delayed, too.

A new edition of the script to Merrily We Roll Along was supposed to finally be published on November 19, 2024 (the original pub date was even earlier).  But it still hasn't happened. >:(

And speaking of Merrily, on a while last night, I bought the Kindle version of the original Kaufman and Hart play.

And do you know what the very first three lines of dialogue at the opening of the show are?  These:

Julia (the Mary original):
Know what I’m having?

David:
What?

Julia (Grimly):
Not much fun.

Sondheim used those exact lines within the opening number of the musical! ;D

He and his wife moved, but I don't remember where they went or why.
