I notice that I have a go-to filler phrase "and that kind of thing" - and for variety, I threw in a "and things like that."  I wonder if I do that when I'm not on Zoom.

Be sure to include "and such as" a few times, like Miss Teen USA.

Or "and stuff like that there."

We used to get something called "Lemon Coolers," or such as. Covered in powdered sugar.

John, I didn't realize Nancy Mitford was so interesting.  I'll have to read more about her.

On Wednesday night my nephew's ex-wife - who showed up at the courthouse last week but then left. Myrna said she thinks Mindy saw me and thought I was an attorney.

Anyway....she was stopped by the police on Wednesday night - although she drove from them for several miles. They then arrested her for DUI and disorderly conduct an because she is on probation she will now have to serve her entire original sentence. Myrna didn't remember what the sentence was, but Mindy will be in the slammer for awhile....

Wow, sad but it will help keep her away.

As the child of an alcoholic I feel very bad for the children.  DR Jrand, I can't remember, is it child or children?

JRand, what an incredible (if not unexpected) turn of events when you consider how close she came to charming a judge into a favorable ruling mere days ago.

DR Rodzinski, I love Randy Sparks' songs for Advance to the Rear, but that film is pure dreck of the worst sort.
