What a rabbit hole I went down. Apparently, if you do Apple Music, which I guess I do, you can add to your library bunches of albums for free. I just did about thirty, including a couple of new cast albums, lots of classical and soundtracks - new and older. Who knew?

My day was rather quiet. I spent a lot of time on Facebook responding to birthday greetings and speaking to various friends and family. I never did hear from Ann, whom I expected to show up with a post office receipt.

I watched an interesting documentary on TUBI about Al Adamson.

I also watched a documentary there about Montgomery Clift by his nephew.....

The nephew's father, Montgomery's brother, Brooks, recorded on tape every telephone call he had with Monty. Kept every letter and clipping....and had extensive correspondence with folks who wanted to write about Monty. the nephew plays some of the recordings and has gone through an entire room of letters, etc.

My favorite part was when the nephew talked to Jack Larson who told a very funny story about himself, Monty, and Merv Griffin.

I have written about this before. I pay Apple a $10/month fee. Then, each month, when the record review magazines arrive, I can add any new releases of interest to my Apple Music library for "free." And all the new cast albums, as well.

I would like to get back to some Le Carré. There are many times I think to take out Spy to watch, and just keep putting it off. I love both the book and the movie. And there's much I've yet to discover.

Today's another beaut, but I need to spend quite a bit of it at the piano. I'll do a couple of things outside, too.

Tomorrow afternoon I'm going to the Bedford Playhouse to see the silent Beau Geste (1926) which Robert Harris will be presenting in his new 4K reconstruction and restoration. It has a newly recorded score by The Mont Alto Orchestra, which is excellent news, and "will be presented as it was in 1926 – with an intermission." Looking forward to that.
