You'd also be subject to my bad cooking on holidays, Elmore. Poor DR Kerry was.

DR Elmore, so glad you and Laura connected yesterday!  I knew about her stepfather’s issue and wondered about her mother’s.  They all do live in California, but I think it’s up north.  Laura went to college in Santa Barbara.

Wild connection, Larry. Did her phone show that she had indeed called you or was this something completely spooky?

I did see Mickey 17 and don’t know if I was more repulsed by the gross aliens or the ham-handed performances of the villains.

Glad you have TUBI DR RODZINSKI.

You might also enjoy the Al Adamson documentary.

And yes your takeaway from the Clift doc was about the same as mine. I would think that some of tsuris of his final years was aggravated by his treatment by John Houston - which he would not take without a fight.

Th,e universe could indeed have been sending you a message.

Sometimes folks just want to be remembered. You might think of some event that may have taken place this month/week that is especially memorable.

Enjoy the movie DR CHAS SMITH.

I indeed made it all through TLLT, and I was interested in the German film noir that followed. But subtitles are not for me after midnight.

Disney+ & Hulu and now blocking comments on their gazillion offer ads on Facebook!

And Disney has lost $3.5 billion of worth since canceling Jimmy Kimmel.

Happy Sunday!  On this week's Broadway Radio Show, it's a delightful conversation with songwriter Michael Finke about his life-long love of musicals and his wonderful new album, a collection of his songs called Get What You Want: The Songs of Michael Finke. It's a fantastic recording featuring a terrific line-up of singers and, if you're unfamiliar with Michael's work, you'll be a fan after giving it a listen!

Hey, Elmore. Speaking of spooky, one day I was wandering the city, might’ve still been the ‘90s, and I forget if it was a library or a museum, it was near Moma, but there was a songwriter showcase in their theater space. So I went to check it out, and they said the guy they’d scheduled couldn’t be there, so this other guy stepped in. Slender blonde guy, played several of his songs on piano, including a lovely song about a day spent at a lake.

Couple years later, I know you now, there’s a gathering at Fred’s apartment, and you bring a guest with you, and it’s that guy I had wandered in and seen perform! Any memory of who that was?

If it is indeed Andy Monroe, that would be an eerie coincidence, since on Facebook just yesterday, Andy Monroe's musical "The Tragic And Horrible Life Of The Singing Nun" came up.

DR George, nice photo of your watch.  That's funny that it runs backwards.

To continue from last night about my Goofy watch:

The last time I needed to have the battery changed, the watch repair guy couldn't get the back back on! :o He said something about the gasket being the culprit, but looking at it now, it looks fine to my untrained eye.  I think I'll take it to Fred Meyer's jewelry department and see if they can get it back on now (and change the battery, if they can).

Good luck!

Andy Monroe? Hmmm, I worked on "The Singing Nun," but I have no memory of hanging out with him. That would be around 2005 maybe?
