Got lots to do today, especially getting prepared for tonight's rehearsal. I ended up bagging last night's because by early afternoon the day had already taken so much out of me that I didn't feel I'd be able to handle it competently, which is a first for me. Back at it tonight.

I'm just glad we got everything done yesterday that needed to get done. And I did some cleanup of areas like the laundry room which is where the litterbox(es) (at one point we had two, for three cats) have been located for about 30 years. Last night and this morning were restful but a little weird. With morning came the realization that this is the first day in - not 30, but 35 - years that I woke up to a day with no feedings to be done. It was Thanksgiving weekend in 1990 that I adopted my first two babies, and it's been nonstop since.

If you just take Tylenol PM, your kids will only be autistic at night.

Glad I don't have kids. ::)

TOD: I have very little interest in superhero stuff, so I can't recall seeing any Superman movies or TV. I must have read some comics in my youth, though.

The only superhero movies I can recall seeing are the two Tim Burton Batman movies.

Once you have eBay up to snuff, bk, maybe list on Discogs as well? Or have you done that before and had a bad experience?

As a buyer, Discogs is great for making sure you get exactly the edition you want. I have no clue what the seller experience is like, though.

I'm very sorry that I did not realize your are now catless.  It makes the grieving even harder when there isn't another furry baby to cuddle for comfort.

Also had a wonderful phone conversation with DR Elmore about all of our cats.

For the past five years I'd been committed to this house being the sanctuary for Annabelle, Thatch, and Stella, if and when there should ever be reason for him to find a new home for them. We (my housemates and me) have gradually realized over the past several months or more that we just can longer commit to that because we're just too "done", and I felt worse than anything about breaking that five-year-old promise. Thankfully, DR Elmore completely understands that (not to put words in your mouth, sir!), and there will be another "right" person who can commit to taking all three - because they are never to be separated, even I from afar would never sanction that - and another path will be found.

I tell you, it's been a journey, these past few days, but we'll move on. It was a great conversation, and I needed it. Thanks again, DR Elmore.

I completely understand.  We too cannot take the heartbreak anymore.  We have had pets together, though they lived with me at first, since we were 18.  There was a slight break before we got Sherlock and broke the never again promise.  Not subtracting the short break that was about 47 years.

I was an early adopter of superhero movie fatigue. Somewhere after the first Iron Man, the Spider-Man reboot, and maybe the first Guardians of the Galaxy, I could do no more.

Even though we continue to watch them I understand.

Maybe not but the PM part might cause memory loss later in life.
