Trouble is, it’s 2:20, which is way too long.

And about 50 minutes in, it’s not beginning to lose steam.

Mike Farrell’s wife is missing, see, but then Margot Kidder shows up and says she is his wife, which he completely disagrees with. Fred Gwynne is a priest. Gould a cop.

Interesting in the credits that it's written by Levinson and Link, but based on a play by someone else.

Yes, I saw that! I was wondering about the play and if it was ever produced.

I am here following a more-than-one-hour-long call with Xfinity about my service going out at one in the morning. I had a second wind and was watching The Night of the Iguana on TCM, and halfway through ... zap. Nothing. TV, modem, everything, out like a light.

Miraculously, what the Xfinity person did this time

(wait for it)

FIXED THE PROBLEM.

That's pretty cool, ChasSmith!

I guess we can assume any absent HHW'er today has been raptured.

To quote Carlotta Campion in Follies:  I'm Still Here! :))

I went to the getting place to get things this morning.

When I got home I realized it was more like the FORgetting place.

I may have to go back Friday morning.

That's too bad, Jrand.

I hate it when that happens...and it happens a little more often than I'd care to admit. ::)

George would recall Manhattan Transfer singing:

He's really down
And he's no clown (yeah, yeah)
He has the finest penthouse
I've ever seen in town (yeah, yeah)
And he's cute in his mohair suit
And he keeps his pockets full of spending loot (yeah, yeah)

I love it! ;D Thanks for the reminder, Freddie!

That's definitely them performing live, if not actually "singing" live. ;)

That's really cool!  And the channel has all four parts of the special.  Those are keepers. :)
