I slept quite poorly, and on top of that I feel quite poorly, so I am not very happy at the moment.

At any rate, I am up and moving. This is a basement-mail box day, but that may be all I accomplish today. I have a scheduled FaceTime meeting this morning at 11:00 with an old friemd, and I hope I am up to that.

DR George, Rupert is much older than my little Annabelle; his career ended long before she was born in late 2016. She does want to read his book.

Last night I watched - well part of - Casino Royale. It was as bad as I remembered it being.

I went with my brother and my cousin to see it at the drive in. I was mainly interested in the second feature North By Northwest.

But after about ten minutes of it they voted to leave and go get food.

After turning off Royale - I watched What's New Pussycat? which I liked but it was way TOO LONG.

I hopped aboard the TCM train again last night for Our Man in Havana. I love the book and the film, and it had been too long since I'd seen it.

And it still is too long. I was totally with it through the first half, and then ... out like a light. I might take out the Blu-ray and watch the rest, or maybe all of it, tonight.

Yesterday was the fundraiser for which I made the caramel corn.  It was selling well and there were only a few bags available when I left about an hour before the closing.  I helped with ticket selling early, then Richard came in for lunch.  We bought homemade vanilla and homemade peach jam and visited with a lot of our neighbors.  I came home and took a nap.
