Finally, at 8:00 the number allowed me to wait to speak with an agent. I waited 35 minutes and then I was asked if I wanted to leave my number for an agent to call me back. I did that and began kitty cleanup. Around 9:15 I got a return call. The lady was great, and she told me they had everything and I should be okay. I hope so, but I won't be certain until Oct. 1 when the new term begins.

That sounds very promising, though!

Agreed!  There's still hope!

San Antonio has a local favorite, the crispy dog. Take a hotdog, slice it almost in half lengthwise, stuff it with cheese. Wrap in in a corn tortilla and then pan fry until crispy. Serve with yellow mustard. A local joint has upped the ante by using Alauski beef hotdogs. Mighty fine.

That crispy dog sounds really good.

Our pathetic excuse for a president is on the air patting hgimself on the back - "no president has been better to Israel than Donald Trump" he just told us - following his meeting with another POS, Netanyahu. God, please, please shut that monotone whine up for good or teach the fool how to read a teleprompter.

Well, my handyman has been here for about an hour and, so far, things are going well.

Great.

I just watched the most wonderful documentary about Room 8, the cat who for sixteen years never missed a day of school at Elysian Heights Elementary in Los Angeles.

I haven't ordered one yet, and I just now noticed that it says Super Audio CD. What attributes are taking advantage of that? Multi-channel sound?

Edit:  Or maybe that's what Super Audio CD always means.

ChasSmith (and anyone else interested), here's the Wikipedia page on SACD discs:

Silent movie day on TCM/

Quite a few years ago when I still had cable and TCM, they did a month of Mack Sennett shorts on the four Thursdays.  I recorded all four nights (about five hours each night) and I burned DVDs of the whole series.

Just had to share. :)

I made a penne in pink sauce with sausage.

Turned out pretty well. I'm sure not as good as MR  BK's.

But it's okay...good for two or three days.

I had a late lunch with friends for a belated birthday. Italian. Linguine in a mushroom and garlic sauce. Very satisfying.

This is the big pill day. All have been taken except for pills two and three, and frankly I may have done pill two - I can't remember if I did pill one or not. Doesn't matter, though. If I do four instead of three that's perfectly fine.

Is the big pill day because you have added an extra pill to your meds or because you alternating days that you take certain pills?

Having seen Keith's third Wordle line I never expected him to get it in four, yet that is what he did :)
