Although Russian Roulette had some good oddball characterizations and interesting Vancouver footage (though it managed to make it look horribly grungy), it didn’t add up to much or make any sense.

And now a lunch has been added to the mix - at noon. Getting to the mail place and banking now becomes tricky, but we'll see how it goes.

From last night:

Congrats to Keith's Wordle score!

As for my first word guess, I use either "audio" and "adieu" because they each have four of the five vowels.

Thank you.  I just shared your starter words with Keith.

Fittingly, today, October the First, is also literally our first day of all, weather-wise. High of 68 today, 65 tomorrow, and 70 on Friday. Saturday gets us back to a high of 80 which will be nice. Not that I mind the cooler days. The overnight lows are the real thing, though -- they just dropped from the mid-to-high 50s to... 40!

We’re in fall weather mode here too. Only 89 for a projected high today.

Enjoy your warm/cooler weather.

Nathan and Kristi are out of town and he had told me to eat whatever I wanted from a few things he'd left in the fridge and on the kitchen counter.

What he left on the kitchen counter was some chips, veggie sticks, and partial boxes of Drake's Fruit Pies - one apple, one cherry. He loves a lot of junk food. And who doesn't? But I didn't pay those any mind until last night when I needed a snack and had an apple one. This morning I had a cherry one.

DAMN IT TO HELL, THEY'RE DELICIOUS. I'M HOOKED.

:)

Entenmann's Mini Apple Snack Pies are quite wonderful, too.

Jane Goodall has died.  She was an amazing woman.  It seems at 91 she was still working and was on a speaking tour.
