Loved Patricia Routledge in "Keeping Up Appearances." I was also fortunate to see her in "The Solid Gold Cadillac" in London.

At one time, I had a dozen or more of those Viking Portable Library paperbacks. Still have one hardcover one, the Edgar Allan Poe, and maybe still one or two of them in paper. Loved those.

Irving Berlin wrote this song about Hitler in 1941. How timely it feels.

She’s great in the live video of Pirates of Penzance in Central Park.

I promised the artist I'd photo the Parker cover when I find the right wall and place for it. May end up in the bedroom although I'd prefer the living room and may move something from there to the bedroom, where I do have some wall space.

The Velvet Touch is too predictable. But the performers are great fun.

Never hypothetically ask yourself if the person in front of you can go any slower.

Because the answer is: Yes.

I wonder if one of BK's future books should be a collection of his One From Column A essays.

Homemade traps using a bowl with water, apple cider vinegar, a crushed blueberry or blackberry, and plastic wrap with holes poked in it.

Interesting.
