Approaching Rupert is not the title of my next novel.

It’s not very good, but Robert Ryan is solid.

This list of the 80 best-directed movies is atrocious.

I drifted back to Marlow. I like two episodes for a murder, rather than the whole season.

There were many guesses about The Real A, especially at the start, and those were really fun. One person guessed me, but I did what I did with all the other guesses and just had fun with it. In the very last column I revealed it using the same device I used for the reveal at the end of Writer's Block.

Sonny Curtis sings "Love Is All Around" live  -  (the second part of the lyric sounds a little, well, objectifying, so it may be for the best that we only knew the first part)

That's very cool, Freddie!  I had no idea that the original concept was more country.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

My favorite version (and the only cover version that I had known about) was Joan Jett and the Blackhearts' cover:

Made a little art trade - something I didn't care about sitting in the garage for years for something I did care about - it was priced really low to begin with and I'd "saved" it in my eBay cart, but then wrote the seller and we worked out our trade, which took a couple of days, and so this pretty thing will be on its way to me Monday. Can anyone guess who the woman in the painting is?

I must confess that I don't know...but that's not surprising. :-\

Here is the answer to the painting. The cover of the book it was created for.

Very cool!  Congrats on the acquisition, BK!

Irving Berlin wrote this song about Hitler in 1941. How timely it feels.

Loved Patricia Routledge in "Keeping Up Appearances." I was also fortunate to see her in "The Solid Gold Cadillac" in London.

She’s great in the live video of Pirates of Penzance in Central Park.

Absolutely! :D
