VIM AND VIGOR IN THE AGING JUVENILE

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had vim and vigor and were written by an aging juvenile, and now it is time for you to post until the aging cows come home.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Yesterday and today are the days for Olympia's Fall Arts Walk.  From noon-thirty until about 5:45, I'm volunteering at the Washington Center, mainly as crowd control.  The venue will be open for bathroom access, but mainly so that anyone and/or everyone can view the artwork that's on display throughout three stories of the lobby.  There is no other event at the center today.

Then, from 6:15 until whenever it's over, I'm ushering at the State Theater for the Harlequin Productions production of Murder on the Orient Express.  A couple of friends are in this, so I'm really looking forward to it.

It's gonna be a long day! :o

TOD:  Feels like there are oils that I avoid in older age, because they have a way of coming back up - but keeping Tums nearby generally helps with that.

I've also reacted negatively to Reese's peanut butter cups for some reason, which I used to enjoy a lot.

After several mornings of rising at 5:00a.m., I decided to sleep in, much to the unhappiness of Annabelle, who kept jumping onto my prone body in her efforts to rouse me. At 6:05, I decided Genug ist genug!

BK, I am embarrassed to admit it, but I am two books behind. I will be getting to them soon, I promise.

This morning, after my trip to the basement and mailboxes, I will enter the new recording of My Fair Lady, which arrived yesterday from England, into my iTunes while I make the bed. I may pull out the full score and listen to the recording with it. I have no other plans today.

DR John G, are you posting about Marlow Murder Club 1 or 2? I loved the first one, and I want to watch the second.

As soon as BK mentioned it was Dorothy Parker, I recofnized her. That Viking collection was my introduction to Miss Parker's work, and my favorite quote of hers remains "You can lead a horticulture but you can't maker her think."

As I've grown older, I have become lactose intolerant, which wreaked havoc on my ice cream and cereal consumption.

Saturday.

Lunch at Chipotle yesterday was very good - but one certainly does have a LOT of decisions to make when ordering there.

Meet Mr. Mulliner is a P.G. Wodehouse novel that I laughed at about 50 years ago. I’m still laughing at it.
