It is sunny and 49 degrees here now.

The high today will only be 71 degrees.

And that's fine.

I had to pay my car insurance today.

Both of my cars are now on ONE policy - so it was a bit more expensive than I am used to paying.

Bruce, how low is low for your prednisone?  Do you have the option to take it in the morning?

DR John G., did they give you an idea of the timeline for hiring decisions?

Within the next few weeks.

ChasSmith, I love the disco-flavored Sister Act score. Some problematic lyrics, but the music works. I hope it’s fun to play.

Hello, all. This is production week for Samson et Dalila. One more dress rehearsal tonight, then we open on Friday for two weekends.

What a treat it has been to get to know this opera. The music is so gorgeous, and we have a nice big chorus part - onstage for pretty much all of Acts 1 and 3.

I'm up, I'm up - have been up since seven - five hours of sleep and non-stop dealing with a whole boatload of people not communicating, and a ton of merde regarding my friend's book. Endless.

But what really drives me batty is people not responding to emails or phone calls. There is NO excuse for it and I've had it and yes, Doug Haverty is the WORST - UNLESS he needs to talk or needs something. I just left him a really nasty message and a well deserved one.

Prednisone is 20 mgs. It's considered a "moderate" dose.

Listening to Taylor Swift's song "Wood" which is apparently specifically about Travis Kelce's "manhood."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m50keINEOI

My first thought when hearing the title went to the song called "Wood" from when we saw Elmore's work in "The New Yorkers" at Encores.

But hearing the Taylor Swift song, just on the explicitness level (not quality of the songs) - I wonder if it's really any more explicit than songs like "Kitchen Man" or "You've Got the Right Key, But the Wrong Keyhole." Or "fin and haddie" in "My Heart Belongs to Daddy".
