Prednisone is 20 mgs. It's considered a "moderate" dose.

True, but high enough that you might want to take it earlier in the day.  It also is high enough to compromise your immune system.

Today Doug Fulington and I will work some more on the Kay Swift ballet. I think we'll finish it tomorrow.

Very cool, Larry!

Last night I watched on Netflix the first two episodes of The House of Guinness, based - I think - on this book. I'm not sure if I will finish all 7 or 8 parts; it's nicely photographed, the design for 1868 is quite good, the cast of Irish and British actors is excellent, but the storytelling in episode ome was sloppy in introducing the characters, and the musical score is dreadful. When there's live music on film, we get 19th cetury music, but for dramatic scenes and montages, we get pounding rock songs and other noise from 2024 that take the viewer completely out of 1868.

I hate it when that happens...music-wise, I mean. :P

Oh, my!

Wow, you did well going from line 4 to 5.

A lot of words that I tried just weren't real words, so they didn't take up a turn.

ChasSmith, I love the disco-flavored Sister Act score. Some problematic lyrics, but the music works. I hope it’s fun to play.

Dittos all around! :D

I'm up, I'm up - have been up since seven - five hours of sleep and non-stop dealing with a whole boatload of people not communicating, and a ton of merde regarding my friend's book. Endless.

Y8kes! :o

My dad loved Guinness stout.

Just had to share. :)

And his son?

On our trip to Ireland we saw a Guinness quality control truck parked outside a pub and I thought that had to be one of the coolest jobs in the world. Probably not in real life, but it sounds that way from the outside.

I enjoyed being in SISTER ACT very much.  :D

I played the Father at the convent. Toward the end two gay guys write a donation check to the convent and in the memo line they put "Oh, Mary!"

And the Mother Superior asks "How did they know my name was Mary?"  ???

I took a pause there and finally the director asked me why....and I said that's a joke it's funny.  And she couldn't understand.  And of course every night we got a big laugh - although some of that may have been the perfect Jack Benny take I gave to the audience at the same moment.....

When in doubt throw in a Benny.  ;)

It is a bit sad that the director did not understanding the joke.
