I went to Kiss of the Spider Woman, and I enjoyed it. But it’s not great, thanks the writer and director, Bill Condon, who makes musicals and hates them at the same time.
His movie within a movie lifts its plot from Lady in the Dark. There’s even a Kendall Nesbitt character and a Danny Kaye joke.
The score was the best thing about the movie. And the performances were excellent. Graciela Daniele has a good cameo. Among the orchestrators were Doug Besterman and Michael Starobin.
I'm trying the hearing aids again that I was wearing when this condition began. I initially thought the severe pain was from the hearing aids. If only that had been the reason. Fingers crossed the pain doesn't return. I need to know if I can tolerate them or not as I do hear better with them.
I cannot return to the rheumatologist I saw as the errors keep continuing. This morning my primary sent an urgent referral to a new rheumatologist. They are processing the request. I hope I get something super fast and he can order that much needed test.

A new AI abomination I have been noticing in my feed are "BANNED SONGS" from the 40's or 50's.....that are obviously newly created "songs" sung by robotics.Very irritating.
We were caught in a fast-moving severe thunderstorm while driving this afternoon. From sprinkling to pounding rain happened in less than 30 seconds. I was able to pull off the busy road to a residential street, where we waited out the storm. Over a half inch in about 10 minutes.
Watching THAT THING YOU DO....I like this movie.Wikipedia says there is an extended version...perhaps I shall search for it.
A big musical number to St. Louis Blues just popped up. Strange movie.
