Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of both red light and green light, and now it is time for you to post until the greenlit cows come home.

The potential possibility of the publishing is pretty cool, BK. ;D

What a treat to hear BK’s thoughts on the Moody Blues. Of course, we lost John Lodge last week, their longtime bassist. The marriage of the Mellotron with an orchestra gave them such a unique sound. They’re one of the few ‘60s rock bands you can get their whole oeuvre on vinyl for about 20 bucks. Their run from Nights in White Satin through Seventh Sojourn in 1972 is pretty consistently enjoyable.

I haven't heard the Moody Blues in years. I should rectify this situation.

I'd always intended to get Days of Future Passed, but I don't think I ever got any of their albums.

I remember going to the Baked Potato once or twice, but I never explored anything else along that strip. Good Neighbor sounds great. I'd sure like to try THEIR potatoes.

Did I miss it or was our DR ChasSmith the only one to respond to my vibraphone question yesterday?

Ditto!  Kritzerland having a publishing arm feels like a wonderful possibility!

I just got an email from our DR singdaw:
Can you please let everyone at HHW know that I arrived safely in New Jersey.

However, the Internet connection is not working. Should have a new router Thursday morning and then I will be back.

DR Rodzinski made a guess of Lionel Hampton.

Anniversary of our musical "The Last Starfighter" (original cast album is on BK's Kritzerland label - it's 20 years from its Nov. 2005 release in a few weeks)

Today (Oct. 15) is the anniversary of a show of ours that really came together with everyone on the same page, even crucially the writer of the original screenplay - the opening night of our musical "The Last Starfighter" - book by me (Fred Landau), music and lyrics by Skip Kennon, based on the screenplay by Jonathan Betuel.

We debuted at the Storm Theatre, a non-profit theater company run by Peter Dobbins which is coming back to NYC this spring after having been based in Texas several years.

Here's the love ballad "Reach Out" music and lyrics by Skip Kennon sung by Julia Motyka and Charlie Pollock, from the original cast album on Bruce Kimmel's Kritzerland label.

More samples from our show are on the site for YouthPLAYS: (for ages 12 and up)

And we also have a "family version" of the show which debuted in 2019, suitable for all ages.
