Watched an animated movie called Away from the guy who made Flow. They’re not in the same levels of quality.

Started something called Swanee River, a supposed biopic of Stephen Foster. It stars Don Ameche. Al Jolson leads a lot of blackface numbers. It’s too much for a single setting.

The shirt I'm wearing now, I just washed this morning. It already needs to go back in the laundry. Food stains from the soup-making.

What a weird and wacky night. I'd planned to watch the new 4K transfer of The Curse of Frankenstein. I had credit at Amazon so I ordered the clearly worded 4K UHD and Blu-ray. Wrong. That edition has two 4K discs and one Blu-ray disc of just the extras. So, that's getting returned immediately. You'd never even know this other release with three Blu-rays exists, but I finally found it and it will be here Saturday.

So, I decided to repeat last evening's snack, and ordered matzo ball soup and kishka but this time from Uncle Bernie's deli - not that fond of it but I've never had either item and they do a nice turkey sandwich and chicken salad sandwich there, so why not take a chance.

I began watching a Maigret episode from the early 1960s Rupert Davies series and was enjoying it thoroughly. Until I went out like a light. Now, when DoorDash arrives it is clearly stated on my profile to RING DOORBELL. Well, they texted, which I didn't hear, and did NOT ring doorbell, which I would have heard. When I finally woke up it was 8:20. I thought that odd so I opened the front door and there was the food. I brought it in.

Thankfully, the soup was still warm, so I ate that right away.

The kishka and gravy were ice cold so I nuked those in the microwave. Soup was really good. Kishka was everything the lousy kishka from the night before wasn't. It was too much food but I ate most of it. So, if I need a kishka fix, I now know where to get it. And I'd get that soup anytime.

I have a feeling that I might need to repaint the edges again, but I want to let it dry overnight before making a final decision.

After painting, I put the mirror back up, so that's done. :)

Tomorrow, I need to put up the extra shelf in the kitchen, and a few little shelves in both bathrooms, and hopefully put up the new (to me) mirror on the main bathroom.
