Probably my most common sandwich, and it’s been years, was two pieces of white bread and a slice of Oscar Meyer baloney. Nothing else.

I got up at 3:30 a.m to make the cookies. And the 50 cupcakes for the cake walk.

Today we saw the opening of Parsifal at San Francisco Opera. This was our first time seeing it and I enjoyed it, though not at the top of the list of operas I need to see again.

Today I made myself a BLT for the first time with our homegrown beefsteak tomatoes. That was good!

Finished with my viewing. Some soup is on its way - don't hold out much hope - they sent him on three other stops first and it was coming a long way to begin with. And they wonder why people demand refunds.

On the question of whether the Broadway revival CHESS is a concert, this person who saw it

at 14:10 here for three minutes or so
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WVXUpX01Jo

says it's not a concert, but compares it to an Encores presentation

I've always thought that Chess seems to work better with a concert-type presentation so that the songs and performers can shine.  The story (and stories over the years) seems to be the weak link. :-\

We had a pretty full house...most shows of the rest of the run are mostly filled, if not entirely sold out.
