Back in 1971, our apartment was one block from a Howard Johnson's on Roscoe - fried clams quite often. The Beverly Garland had a Howard Johnson's originally - fried clams there, too. Never went to the one in Hollywood.

Crazy cray cray with my CVS pharmacy. They keep telling me I can't refill three of my prescriptions until end of November - BS - they say something to do with insurance - BS. Turns out that if they get multiple refills it messes with their system. So, they are now refilling everything and they'll be delivered in the next three hours. I thought I had Mestanon for today but I don't, so I'll need to take that one right away. I had the Prednisone and Folic acid here. Only the Mestanon is a co-pay - so I gave my cc number. And I get a text from BofA asking if I made the charge. Mind you, they've already declined it. I say YES, they say thanks for confirming, it can now go through. Only they declined it. I will never understand why they do this on a one-time small charge. I would totally understand it if it were a big and unusual charge or if I'd been using that card all day, but I haven't.

Then they got the dosage wrong on the Prednisone - which was supposedly cancelled over a month ago. So, they had to correct that. It's just wacko - one thing after another.

We kept hearing a beep coming from the bathroom. Not always. Intermittently. Sometimes it would beep a few times, then stop. Or beep once in a while.
