Good choices MR BK.

I read the book The Carpetbaggers before I saw the movie and I have always been disappointed that Miss Carroll's character did NOT get the death scene that was in the book.....but in fact died offscreen as was reported by Virginia Graham:

She's dead. She died 20 minutes ago.....and the movie nearly died with her.

That's horrendous behavior, DR John G.

I would have been absolutely grateful for the pizza.
How could they ever have thought they were entitled to that dinner?

To offer some perspective, two people who paid to attend bid $43,000 each on an auction item. Of course, they weren't eating pizza. But why should someone who volunteered get their dinner for free?

My good friend Carol has been hospitalized with a 103-degree fever. It's now down a degree, but it's still upsetting.

It is mind boggling that they thought they were entitled to a dinner for free.

Vibes for your good friend Carol.  Do they know what is causing the fever?

Listening to The Queens of Crime, as I posted yesterday. A clue to the murder is that the victim went to see Noel Coward’s Cavalcade. Sadly, the writer refers to it as a musical. It was a play. Shoddy mistake.

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  I slept until almost 9 this morning, which is very late for me.

I'm guessing you went to bed late watching the election results.  At least you posted late for you.

There’s that, DR Jane, plus I’m still making up for sleeping poorly while we were away.

Sleep well tonight.

LOL, why wait ‘til tonight?  I sat down to watch a 58-minute crafty video and woke up at 55:10.

I’m at the movies for the Springsteen biopic. Once again I am the only person in the theater.

DR ChasSmith and DR George, please don't flush wooden shoes down your new terlets.

They might get clogged.
