So, yesterday's first rehearsal had to be canceled. The director's husband (and this show's stage manager) was in an accident and his car* was totalled!

MOST fortunately, he is fine. But, because of the accident and some other issues, we're not having rehearsals this week.

*I don't know if it was my former Ford Escort that I gave them, or their SUV that they had. $:-\$

My favorite steaks are the ones I grill myself. Costco ribeyes or New York strips covered in Montreal seasoning. Grilled five minutes on each side gor a beautiful medium rare.

Is the New York strip the other half of the Porterhouse? - the first half being the filet mignon? That would certainly make Porterhouse the king of steaks. A few of us used to enjoy sharing a big one at a place in L.A. whose name escapes me. Oh wait. Reuben's? I think so. Not a "fine" steak house like what BK is talking about, but a good, reliable place.
