DR Freddie, yes about the A1C. I normally do it in May. I don't know if my rheumotolist will order it sooner. Next month my labs will include glucose testing.

Jane, you normally only do A1C once a year? I did mine in April, and my doctor is having me take it again before I see him in December. (Maybe because I'm on the metformin.)

I have only tested prediabetes so once a year is fine.

From what I have read the A1C isn't necessarily the best way to test while taking prednisone. Unless I feel symptoms I won't push to have it sooner.

Having done High Spirits in 1965, it's a wonderful show and score - we had a great cast and I had the best time. It's a favorite of mine and the OBC is a terrific recording and what an overture.

This thing from yesterday turned out to be a real pain in the A. Now nothing can happen for the next two business days and that could even be three, which means I'm screwed until after Thanksgiving. I'll tell the story once it's all sorted out, but the stupidity of what it is will take your breath away, because it requires one to have the talent of mentalism or being able to divine information.
