Wells Fargo, all because I liked the look of their checks.

We wanted to surprise Craig with his first credit card for his 18th birthday. It was only for $1,000 to help him establish credit and as a learning experience. Of course we would be co-signers.

Even though we had just purchased a home with them, for some reason there was an error on our credit rating for a late small amount payment.

We argued and argued with the manager. If they didn't care about the home loan, why care about this when we would be able to fix the error.

We stormed out of there, went down the street to BofA and spoke to the manager there. The credit card was approved within half an hour, plus we transferred all of our money from Wells Fargo to BofA.

Not only that, they rushed the card to us the next day for Craig's birthday.

We have a long time friend. If she gives us a check to cash it is the oddest thing, we can't cash it. It can only be deposited and we have to wait for it to clear. I asked her once and she had no idea why there is a restriction on the check. We know she has the money. It has to be an error but if this only happens to us I'm not bothering her about it

Watching The Barretts of Wimpole Street. What an ugly backdrop for a romance. I love the musical, but the character of Moulton-Barrett is truly vile, and Charles Laughton plays him perfectly.

I wondered this on castrecl and got no reaction whatsoever, so I might as well say it here (about the upcoming Broadway DEATH OF A SALESMAN produced by Scott Rudin and starring Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf)

Is it possible that people like Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf have always been treated so well by Mr. Rudin in the past, that they just think the claims by the "little people" are overblown?
