Well, you've read the notes, the notes were bastardized, and now it is time for you to post until the bastardized cows come home.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Well, this is really cool:

These Criterion Blu-rays Secretly Include Entire Extra Movies…

Some Criterion Collection releases include a complete second feature film hidden away in the supplements — and a lot of collectors don’t even know they own them. In this video, I’m going through the editions that quietly deliver double the value: a full bonus movie that isn’t the main attraction on the cover.

I slept rather well, but the cats, most especially Annabelle, were restless.

I have much to accomplish this morning. Around 11:00 my friend Chris, who's one of the producers on the current revival of Ragtime, is coming by. We haven't visited in over a year, so I'm looking forward to the visit. I'm going to give him a copy of Annabelle & Thatch, snd he's going to deliver another copy of the book to Keanu Reeves, who is currently starring in Waiting for Godot on Broadway.

Before then, I have a bit of tidying up, as well as a trip to the basement.

Yesterday, Criterion emailed me their December releases, and I noticed that the rerlease of His Girl Friday inclues the earlier film version of The Front Page.

That's so interesting to realize that this RAGTIME has other commercial producers besides Lincoln Center Theater, letting them do such a full production and have a financial Broadway success, it seems.

Great news about getting your book circulated in such great circles, Larry!

How did I never hear this Joan Rivers gossip?

I watched both recently. I love Criterion.

I'm back from rehearsal #1. In a couple of hours I'll be returning for rehearsals #2 and #3. And then I'll be returning for the concert this evening.

Thank you for the link to that video, DR George.

I LOVE extra features on DVDs/Blu-rays, and have always enjoyed acquiring such releases. I mean, as long as the movies are anything I care enough about to own in the first place. I will watch that video in just a bit to see if there's anything I haven't already known about.

Thank God the irritating Giving Tuesdays is over. I received over 250 emails yesterday, all wanting money.

The extra features feature is great, but be sure to check the comments. In addition to those ten releases, people have identified other Criterions that he doesn't talk about in the video.

I'm getting a lot of posts about the near-nudity in the gay hockey drama HEATED RIVALRY - so maybe "Ass Wednesday" is under way.

Ass Wednesday would be a good day.

As I have written elsewhere on the internet - the producers of the new revival of Death of a Salesman starring Nathan Lane & Laurie Metcalfe as Willie & Linda have asked the Miller estate if they can include a new final line.

Linda:  He's fine. He sends his love.

Having an organized assistant is crucial for a director.

I can only guess that the folks who are driving their feet have never directed a show.
