I have much to accomplish this morning. Around 11:00 my friend Chris, who's one of the producers on the current revival of Ragtime, is coming by. We haven't visited in over a year, so I'm looking forward to the visit. I'm going to give him a copy of Annabelle & Thatch, snd he's going to deliver another copy of the book to Keanu Reeves, who is currently starring in Waiting for Godot on Broadway.

Yesterday, Criterion emailed me their December releases, and I noticed that the rerlease of His Girl Friday inclues the earlier film version of The Front Page.

That's so interesting to realize that this RAGTIME has other commercial producers besides Lincoln Center Theater, letting them do such a full production and have a financial Broadway success, it seems.
