I was asked by work to drive up to Midfketown to conduct a closing on Friday

I headed up at 630 am and made it in 2.5 hours but the return trip took closer to 4

Fortunately I just put a new radiator, heating coil, headlights and transmission fluid as well as an oil change so the van was warm and comfortable for the 250 mile round trip

On the bright side, we brought the tree in on Saturday and I hung the lights, so on Sunday while we were snowed in I pulled out the ornaments and decorated the tree

Mono recordings are mono, period. Splitting them off into four sections doesn't make them stereo - it may give you panning and separation but they were not miked for stereo and can never BE stereo, no matter how self-serving this guy is. He was not the first to use Pro Tools - I can tell you that WE were the first to use it on cast albums - Vini was always ahead of the curve in that regard.

And apparently they only press 100 of these things so how they're not losing money, presuming they're actually paying this guy to do what he's doing, is anyone's guess.

Oy. Today was a long day. Our department took a record number of calls. On the line the general public uses, there was at one point 2,500 folks on hold, and the hold time reached over 5 hours.

I was wondering how "stereo-y" (technical term) it could actually be.
