I may just do gift cards this year. That way I don't clutter up my kids' houses with unwanted stuff.

We sent food, not something you would do when you live near someone.

Like with Thanksgiving, my DIL doesn't know if she has to work Christmas or not. She is scheduled for Christmas Eve, and after a 12-hour shift she'll be exhausted. So we'll work around her schedule. Or skip it.

Not her fault, but frustrating not to be able to plan.

TOD: We'll do our usual, heading to my sister-in-law's in Baltimore where we see several of my wife's siblings and many of our nieces and nephews. And enjoy the traditional Christmas lasagna!

I am back from the rehearsal, have eaten some tasty lunch, and I'm ready for a nap!

I've got a few hours. I'll settle in on the couch and see if I can get a little sleep.

I have heat!

It started up around 6:00 last night, but I wasn't sure because last week, when I opened the radiator, I thought all was well. So, I was awakened sometime around 4:00, when I heard the furnace starting up - a familiar sound after 45 years - and when the apartent was toasty at 5:45 when the alarm rang, I knew all was good.

That's wonderful, Larry!  Enjoy the toasty warmth!

My call with Doug Fullington went well. I like the ballet prelude, and Doug will se3nd an mp3 file to Phil, the choreographer, for approval. I hope I can get a bit of writing on the ballet's royal march today.

Very nice!

I've bought no presents, written no cards and cannot seem to motivate myself to do either

Totally understood. I’m barely into it, myself.

Ditto. ::)

I can take a much needed bath this morning; it was too cold to run wet and naked the apartment the last five days.

"Run Wet and Naked" could be a possible sequel to "Run Wild, Run Free."

Interesting that the rumors have become more than rumors.

"LONDON NEWS

The Wicked film co-stars are looking to reunite in 2027."

Trying to figure out what to title this book that I'll start on January 1. This one's a little tricky. I have a few ideas, but hoping for something really catchy to come to mind.

You can use "Run Wet and Naked" -  I wasn't really intending to use that title. :)

Today has been, well, interesting. One boy, who wails louder than Celine Dion, has demonstrated his desire to play with himself in front of the cafeteria crowd.

Joshie called. The copy service creating the new full scores will not have materials for me until tomorrow. So I will not see him today. I used the time for some other work.
