DR JHN G I think you should get hazard pay.

The hazard pay should go to the women. This particular child behaves when there are men around. If he gets upset around women, he gets physically aggressive. Yesterday, he struck the teacher I was helping out. Today, he hurt a woman sub, who had just started subbing again. I don’t know if she’ll continue with special ed after the first of the year.

I stopped by the cemetery this afternoon. I'll have to go back with some flowers soon.

Was this for the recent loss at your church?

No. There was a bad accident near the intersection, which rerouted traffic to right by the entrance. I hadn't been in for a while, so I decided to stop. My parents and a few friends could use some flowers.

Oh, my, John! They shouldn't even assign women to that class. For their safety.

I may now watch that Christmas Carol ballet. Had no idea it was choreographed by Christopher Gable. If you don't know the name, he plays opposite Twiggy in The Boy Friend and also choreographed quite a bit of the film.

And played Inigo Joliphant in Johnny Mercer’s criminally underrated The Good Companions.

They should probably have someone specifically assigned to him. And yet when I was in the class with him, he behaved. He picked out a movie and watched it quietly.

I took as much Shakespeare as I could in undergrad. I’ve seen many staged, and I’ve read many for fun. But I’ve never been moved to attempt King John.

I only watched it during the pandemic when I watched all the Shakespeare plays I hadn’t seen before. Troilus and Cressida, The Two Noble Kinsmen and Henry VIII were also on that list.

Watching The Great Escaper, which features Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson. They’re both marvelous despite their age. It was Jackson’s final performance.

Lesley Manville is a great storyteller. The ending anecdote about Judi Dench is a hoot.

More fun than King John, no doubt.

The Great Escaper is four-hanky weeper. True story. Excellent performances. Highly recommended.

DR Rodzinski, do you ever watch the youtube channels of the folks who tell the stories of people and visit their graves?

Yes, there’s a lot of good content like this. I just learned from one of our own articles that Henry Ford used a mortsafe.

There’s an underrated, basically forgotten Caleb Deschanel film called The Escape Artist that I like, starring Ryan O’Neal’s boy.
