I saw Pressure Point at a sneak preview - Picwood Theatre - loved it. The director only made a handful of films but he had his own style - Hubert Cornfield. We released the soundtrack early on - Ernest Gold. Bobby Darin is quite excellent in it as is Poitier. Barry Gordon as young Bobby is great, too. Several years later, Cornfield would direct another one-off movie, Night of the Following Day, that, despite all the bad improve he allowed from Brando and Moreno, is also stylistically really interesting.

Penny O! I remember attending her one-woman show in NYC many moons ago. Happy Birthday to her.

Years ago, of course, she brought her show to North Bend, Washington, and I drove all the way up there by my lonesome to see her show, which was quite good.

Well, I figured out the mystery of me thinking that I couldn't hyperlink on my new phone.

Simply put:  operator error.  Dopey me!

The keyboard on my old phone types a slash ("/") when you hold down the letter t:

But my new phone doesn't have a slash in the main keyboard, it has the backslash:

To get to the the forward slash, you have to go into, then get out of, a sub keyboard, which takes a couple of extra taps:

I didn't think about the forward-versus-back slashes, so I just used the backslash, which doesn't work (see Post #166 above). But NOW, I realize my mistake and can hyperlink to my heart's content!

Oh, and speaking of Motorola's StarTAC phone (I was, at some point recently), while looking for Penny's poster, I found the box to my StarTAC phone!

I remember being able to charge and power it up a few years ago, but it no longer is compatible with modern cell phone technology...and there's no phone number assigned to it.
