I love this recording of Rutter's arrangements and compositions.

I finished my work on the overture for High Spirits. Took me 4.5 hours.

DR Ginny, DR Laura's comment about the Coventry Carolt me thinking about John Arden's wonderful Christmas one-act, The Business of Good Government. Did you work with me on that? I think it may have been before you moved to Middletown.

Yes, DR Elmore, it was before my arrival in Middletown.  But wasn’t Richard in it?

I watched Every Day Another Battle - or whatever it's called.

I know MR BK wrote about it a few weeks ago.

For me, it got better as it went along. The actors were all good - the only one I didn't like was the first woman - couldn't understand a word she said.....but everyone else was fine.

I also liked the scene with Leonardo D. when he was on hold with the terrorist organization.....LOL

I'm feeling a bit under the weather. I had too many leg cramps last night, and I'm feeling a bit melancholic this morning.

Hope you feel better quickly!!

Thank you, sir, and I hope your day improves!

I also received a lovely card from Larry!  Thanks so much! :)

Topic of the Day:  usually fries (sometimes garlic fries), or tots of the tater variety, if they are an option.  I've also gotten cole slaw, or mashed potatoes and gravy, or potato salad, or macaroni salad, or a myriad of other items...but mostly either fries or tots.

To the annoyance of my neighbors, the holiday music has begun! DRs, what holiday recordings do you listen to most often? I think these are my choices:
Classical: Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and Charles Mackerras
Folk: Joan Baez "Noël"
Choral: New York City Gay Men's Chorus
Show Music: Moonshine & Mistletoe
orchestral: Arthur Fiedler ad the Boston Pops
Vocal: Julie Andrews and Andre Previn
Compilation: BK's Christmas on Broadway

Very cool! ;D

I can see where it is but have no great ideas for how to get it out. Maybe I'll try today when I have light, not just my phone flashlight.

That happened to me with my ATM card not long ago.  Daylight helped a lot!

Indeed, daylight really helped! I got it out, listened to it, and now it's safely back in its case until next year.
