TOD: I can't recall having mac and cheese as a kid, or when I first had it. I've never been a big fan. Spaghetti cacio e pepe? Now we're talking.

Velveeta melts well. I'd cut it into cubes, and I always made sure there were some cubes for the kids to steal.

I sometimes have the boxed stuff on hand. Grandson likes it.  When you are feeding kids, you have to feed kids.

I made some chicken mushroom soup today. I got a 5 pound box of mushrooms for $7 on Friday. We're having mushrooms with everything.

I love a five-cheese mac and cheese with fontina, sharp cheddar, Swiss, gouda and Pecorino Romano. Maybe a touch of truffle oil. And a buttery panko topping.

Well I liked Velveeta and still use it to make mac and cheese.

I also use it on my cheeseburgers.

It melts very well.
