I started watching the silent Ernst Lubitsch movie I found the other day. It's his version of a Rudolph Valentino movie. With Poka Negri. Lubitsch plays a hunchback.

Back from a good show - too much fumfering in act two, but otherwise pretty sharp. About sixty-five or seventy people, so a very good house for a second Saturday. Must try to write a page or two - I've done five so far - have a snack, and then write some damn notes.
