Matt H, I love FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD, both the movie & the novel.
Far and away Hardy's best story, and not just because it's the only sort of happy ending.

Both BK and DR Druxy are getting some nice advance kudos for their memoirs - who's next to write theirs?

JRand, you can call the UNI basketball player butt ugly....but last night we just called him a winner ;)

Cilla, I said they played a great game, but Shrek is still ugly!

LOL. I thought it was JRand that said it...my mistake.

He slinks off with a sock every chance he gets ;D  Fortunately he doesn't chew on them.

Nilla the cat used to do that.  I would find socks all over the house when I came home

Cilla, you are self employed & could take a dog to work with you.  Of course you would need a special dog that is good with people.

I have to count the socks as I drop them in the washing machine, it's very frustrating finding a sock on the floor after the wash is half way done.

My neck is stiff from playing too long on my new computer, plus I have not done any exercises today.  I've been very bad & am paying for it.

Laters as DR Jose would say.

No, I don't think that the building manager would be happy about it. And I really wouldn't want to do that.  I'm not there all the time, I go to court, go to do jail visits etc, so the dog would be with Edith, who doesn't really like pets

My brother is even crazier about his cats than I am.  He has one indoor and one garage cat.  he has a tv in his garage that he leaves on for the cat.  He says it likes football better than baseball.....he's serious....LOL

And, as usual, a great blurb from Charles Pogue.

No, they'd want the dog to stay home so they could pick on it :)

Actually, I think Mr. Pogue might have some memoirs that he should be writing.

Well, I went out for a hot fudge sundae, but discovered they had their baked chicken on special.  That's usually my favorite thing to eat there, so I decided on an early dinner....big mistake. It was very greasy today and it just wasn't too good.  Anyway, I am still hungry for that hot fudge sundae...
