Good Morning!

Well, my cell phone alarm went off at 9:00 - since I had set it to go off at 9:00.

And then my snooze alarm went off about half an hour later in the form of the hotel's fire alarm.  ARRGGHH!!!!  I started getting dressed about 30 seconds after it started, and as soon as I stepped into the hall, the alarm stopped...  Ah, well...  I had suspected it was a false alarm, so...  But still...

I'm just thankful that the sprinklers didn't go off like they did in when I was in Houston...

So...  I'm up.

...And it's actually kind of neat...

The first time the show was in Richmond about two years ago - or has it already been there?!?!? - in any case...  Lauren Mufson had just started her stint as one of the Donna understudies, and I believe she went on for the first time in Richmond.  And now she's the "star".  :)

Well, I'll guess I'll catch the Peabody Ducks at 5:00 today.  I just missed the 11:00 "show".

Memphis is forecasted to get some severe thunderstorms this morning.  Hail even.  Yikes!  At least it's not too long a walk to the theatre, and I have my $5.00 NYC Umbrella with me!

Hmm...  Now what to do for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch... ???

. And OH MY GOSH! the bookings are beginning to come in... quite a number of  inquiries, a few bites, and three offers in negotiations for next season. Can you spell SATISFACTION?

Excellent.  Should any of your bookings etc be in the NY area please do let us know. DH & I had a wonderful  time at your show.

It is actually very sad to see Paula on American Idol in that condition.  She has always semed like a sort of "earth mother" to all of the contestants.  After Simon's barbs and Randy's "Yo Dawg"; Paula seemed to be the only one that was able to boost each one's confidence, even after their worst performances.  It must be hard to take anything she says to heart right now, when she just seems to be so totally out of it.

Vonzell was VERY good last night. So was Jessica.

I agree about Scott and Nikko.  I cannot stand Anwar.

I think the audience knows its own mind....Simon couldn't save Jennifer or LaToya last time around.

And I'm really getting tired of his absurd putdowns of Anthony.  Anthony doesn't make good song choices, but he sings them very well.

I just find that the judges are overpraising certain performers.

Watch, if the judges (specifically simon) rave about someone, that person will stay.  ANd if he puts down someone (that person will be bottom 3).

I doubt that Simon raved about Latoya or Jennifer in the weeks that they were eliminated.

You see what happened to nadia (who until last week i thought was the woman receiving the most votes). She had an off week and simon blasted her (even though i thought until then she had been one of his favorites).

And how he (simon) has been going crazy over carrie the past few weeks.

I truly think that the audience is easily manipulated.  Watch who gets bottom 3 tonight.

Of course most of the voters don't realize they are voting with what simon says. But i think most of them think that simon is usually right. So if he says someone is bad, they will believe him.  Although there are certain performers (constantine for example) who are immune.  The teeny-bopper girls love him, and they will continue to support him.

Yum, I went to Walmart and got some half priced easter chocolate. Got a big white solid easter bunny for 96 cents.  But what I really wanted was this bean bunny in pink (that i saw last weekend). Only problem is that I'm so dumb, i forgot i had seen it at a different Walmart. Hopefully it will still be there when I get the chance to go.

No, but they finished last in the first episode and as punishment they took away all their belongings (except their passports).

DR vixmom - I'm so sorry to hear that you're part of the epidemic.  I just finished my Z-pack, which was prescribed on Saturday.  And you're right, you should feed a cold to keep those antibiotics company in your stomach.  Otherwise:  :P

DR Joey - Those nice straight teeth are all the more reason to have the wisdom teeth taken care of before they wreck the years of orthodontia.

what is a bean bunny?

It is a stuffed bunny (stuffed animal), but made from fabric.  But the inside is like little beans.  It is so cute!  But of course it was overpriced.  But at 50% off, I really want one!

Thanks....after my neices finished crawling all over me  on Easter, with hugs and kisses, particularly the  6 year old (not tht I discourage these outpourings of affection) their mom (my SIL) announced that they had all been sick for the past three days  apparently they were feeling better but still had the bugaboos to spread! :P
