Edisaurus -- do you have a vine called "Dutchman's Pipe" or something like that?

Phoenix is not nearly as old a city as the cities back east. But we like to tear down nice old buildings and put up new stucco castles.

You did some things right:

And some not:

Yes, they did the Orpheum Theater correctly. I think that is the only downtown building that survived the renovations.

Greetings from Ohio!  The flight was comfortable and so on time that we landed early.  My brothers have been here with me, and now the hospice caregiver Donna is here with him.

I just finally watched MEDIUM and LOST today. And i enjoyed both.

One thing about the LOST recap show. It was quite interesting because 2 producers basically narrated the special. And they mentioned something i didn't know.

They were talking about how they included easter eggs in some of the shows. These are things that the ordinary viewer would not catch.

They showed some i knew. Like how certain characters were in others flashbacks (a la Sawyer meeting jack's dad).  But they also showed a bunch of things i had not noticed. Some of them are minor (like showing jin and sun doing something with the tv on in the background. And on the tv was hurley winning the lotto). They also showed hurley maybe in the airport. And he was passing by these cheerleaders with the lotto numbers on them.

But the one i found really fascinating, was remember sayid's girl. There was some girl in prison that sayid loved. ANd he was carrying around her picture. And i look looking to find her. Anyway in one of locke's backstories that same girl was in it. So locke knew her. Now i can't remember what else we saw pertaining to that. But everything is connected!

More vibes to DR Elmore and his father. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tonight i will watch GREASE YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT. I am curious to see who will get voted out first. Then i will watch APPRENTICE.

I'm curious if GREASE and TAR will be on at the same time next week. If so then i'm sorry but TAR will win for me.

Btw, speaking of TAR has anyone seen the awesome commercials they 've been airing. I saw rob and amber, joyce and uchenna, the beauty queens, dave and mary, jill and john vito. I think i also saw kevin and drew. I definitely saw the older couple teri and ian.

Heather is adorable---and Cason is fraught with talent. (Is that a compliment? It is meant as one!) I've enjoyed editing your Brain performance.

Thank you on both accounts.  The first one is an absolute fact -- the second is debatable! ;)  I cannot wait to see the show all edited.  I've heard nothing but glowing reports from our ever-intrepid director.  I guess in the meantime, I'll have to just keep playing my Brain CD...

I spent about an hour and a half on it today and found things I can live quite well without. I play mind games to help me get started--breaking an overwhelming task into small, managable chunks is a favorite. Not nearly so daunting! It helps greatly to be in the mood to TOSS (otherwise, things get moved around but not OUT). Once I get on a roll it's easier and I'm more productive. It also helps to see progress.

But, GEORGE, you emptied your storage locker, did you not? That is a GIANT step forward. A $90/mo. step forward. You probably have more now in your house, but it's still progress!

Doesn't that depend on whether or not he can still find his bed?

der Brucer

Actualy, everything from the storage unit was brought into my living room downstairs.  I have some stuff in my extra bedroom on the second floor (of three) and the plan is to bring it all down to my living room with the rest of the stuff.  Then I can set up shelves in my extra bedroom and then (again, the plan) go through each box, one at a time (even if it's just one box a day) to decide whether to sell, recycle throw away or keep (WITH justification...I MUST have a reason to keep something).  What will also help is that my sister is planning on having a garage sale in a couple of months, so hopefully, most of the stuff can be sold or whatever is left given to Goodwill or a homeless shelter or something like that.

Hmmm...no mention if Intercourse, PA

I don't suppose a postmark from Dildo, Newfoundland, Canada would be high on the list, either. ;)

I am not watching GREASE tonight, I think I will watch THE ABSENT MINDED PROFESSOR on TCM.  I haven't seen this since I saw it at the drive-in, as a MUCH younger child than I am now.

My sister was able to tape Oprah's episode from this past week on decluttering and I'm going to watch it today.  I DESPERATELY need to get rid of a lot of my stuff...but, of course, I need to stop talking about it and just do it. ::)

I'm now going to my sister's house to help move a couple of very heavy TVs up and down her stairs.  At least, I won't have to move them all by myself. :)

And I would guess that Miss Juliana is being encouraged to wear some kind of new bee-zeer!

They are singing songs by ALW.

Billy Bush wants to know if it will be a "Musical Masterpiece" or a "Musical Massacre'?

Does he really have to ask?
