Sherlock & I need to get out for a hike.  On the way home I want to stop at the used book store, I have a large bag of books to trade.

I was thinking the same thing when I posted the name of the book.  The title did catch my attention enough that I picked up the book to see what it was about. :o

I attempted to fix my post, so my statement is outside of Singdaw's quote.  I gave up.

...And courtesy of my parents' cable TV, and OnDemand, I'm not caught up on HBO's "True Blood".

That's some good TV!

Back from the long jog - I really sweated today, which I think is great for me.  It wasn't too difficult until the last couple of blocks, when my back began to really hurt, otherwise I'm glad I did it.  I must now shower and be on my way to lunch with Miss Susan Egan.

Good morning all.  Toby and I slept until almost 11 this morning.  Of course, we were up from 3:30 to almost 7, so we needed the sleep.  I am now eating a pb&j sandwich and Toby is nursing.  I developed a craving for pb&j during pregnancy, and it hasn't quite left me yet.

T.O.D.:
dvds;
SUPERNATURAL SEASON 3 - what a great, truly great season!  And it's nice to have the upgraded 5.1 sound, too.
INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL  - I like it, I don't LOVE it, but, it's just so much fun.  Still, there's too much CGI-work.
Some hand made things I cannot name, but, Cheyenne Jackson has hit another home run and Jennifer Holliday was NOT going while Judy Kaye was not in love and David Hyde-Pierce took to the stage with Debra Monk.

CD:
SAAWARYIA - original soundtrack
Kristen Chenoweth - A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF - BBC Broadcast starring Anthony Newley
AVENUE Q SWINGS - various artists

Reading Material:
WAITER RANT - the waiter
AMERICAN LIGHTING
BLOODLINES - the latest "Repairman Jack" novel

Also...the lovely Marathi actress Jayshree Gadkar passed away, at age 66 in Mumbai. She starred in a number of Bollywood films, including several mythologicals made in the late 60s and 70s.

She was also quite popular in Marathi cinema in the early 60s.

DR JMK, are you doing anything tonight?  Shalom Auslander will be speaking at Powell's tonight-7:30.  Wish I could go.  I just finished reading his memoir "Foreskin's Lament", a strange, funny, sad, interesting memoir.  Check it out.

I'm listening to the Portland band Smegma instead.  (A very, very, very inside joke that absolutely no one will understand I'm quite sure).

And those of us who do wish you hadn't.

If it was true pregnancy crave it would have either pickles or anchovies on it!
