Funny, yesterday when I was wishing travel vibes to DR Ben and "DP" Anthony, I was wondering to myself if you guys were going to get married since you live in my progressive home state (don't ask about my current state of residence)!

It sounds like my ceremony. Just the two of us, our mothers as witnesses. Then all four of us went on a honeymoon.

LOL!

I believe I have caught up with all the congratulations for our anniversary & Bryan's new status.

LOL DR elmore, not once did I say "My son the doctor".  I did smile a lot and occasionally call him doctor, but then did just about everyone he knew.  It was so cute watching him smile & blush each time.

Our anniversary really took second fiddle to the occasion.  In fact half way through the commencement ceremony I leaned over to Keith and said "Happy Anniversary"  He kind of mumbled, "oh right" and we both laughed.

http://www.catrike.com/catrikes.html   Larry, my friend with Parkinson's who rode across South Dakota  (documentary should be released within the next year) rides a catrike.  He has gotten a number of other Parkinson's patients riding them.

So, if Bryan decided to post at HHW we would have to call him DR Dr. Bryan?

During the ceremony they put the hood on Bryan and declared him and doctor and then handed him his diploma.   The hood is more impressive from the back.

I have an attic.  I wonder if it's too late to get a portrait done.

Bryan didn't like the hat and it was the only part he got to keep.  When he turned it in a woman next to him wanted to at least keep her hood.  The person collecting the robe & hood said no.

I wonder how much they cost...I'm sure that you could buy him one for himself.

And those were great pictures, Jane!

Thank you DR George.  The faculty was on the stage during the ceremony and they each wore the robe & hood from their school.   If he ever becomes faculty or does anything official where he needs to wear his robe and hood he will have to purchase it.

Kate, Bryan's DW, was telling us she wanted to go to Cambridge because they had beautiful robes & hoods.  I think she said they were purple.  I don't know what color she will have once she gets her PhD at Northwestern.  It was nice of her to give up the pretty robe to be close to Bryan ;)

Here's another picture. It's Anthony and me cutting the cake, which was given to us by his cousin. Anthony was going to get a cake from Food Emporium (a local grocery store) and Renee said NO, NO, NO! She got the cake from a place in Brooklyn called

Betty Bakery

It was a wonderful cake full of chocolate, cream and wrapped in fondant.
