DR FJL - YOOR-a-nus is the proper way to say the word out loud in polite company.....but you can say it any way you wish behind closed doors.

But in pronouncing it the OTHER way you might always point to the sky as you say it, thereby exhibiting the object of your voicing.

So does Bindass rhyme with "find ass" or "skinned ass" - If I meet Mr. Bindass, I wouldn't want to commit a faux pas.

It would be great if he made lots of money with his movies so his children could be known as the Bindass Heirs.

Jrand - Is Uranus pronounced "urinous" or "your anus" - I've been pronouncing it "urinous" and somehow  feel like I've been missing out on a joke everyone else is in on

It all depends on whether it comes before or after a word beginning with a vowel or consonant sound.

I finished DHAN DHANA DHAN GOAL...John Abraham has really been working out, his arms are getting huge.

Now on to Bollywood number two, the 2007 hit film NAMASTE LONDON starring Akshay Kumar as a Punjabi guy in love with a spoiled British born Indian gal.

I love the soundtrack, so I hope to love the movie as well, and I always enjoy Akshay in these types or roles (as opposed to his action hero roles).

Is that because he spends more time shirtless in those types of pictures?  Or does he look years older in those types of movies?

I finally got to the store for the tuna. Boy were the girls happy when I got home. I started chanting tu-na, tu-na as I entered the house and they were turning around in circles purring until I got the lid off the can and some into their dishes. They gobbled it down and are now bathing.  They are happy tonight

And when will the video of that be up on YouTube?

Are you sure the word isn't "blind ass?"

I changed my mind on CASINO ROYALE; once I realized it wasn't continuing with a new Bond relacing the old, kinda like soap opera vacations, the blocks fell into place and I've been laughing my way through it.  Quite enjoyable.

Ginny, it looks like a lovely area to celebrate your anniversary.  Congratulations on 27 years.

Thank you, Jane!  Richard's class this quarter is liturgy, where they learn all about the various church ceremonies.  I suggested that if they need to practice the sacrament of holy matrimony, we could be the bride and groom.
