Guess I'll head down now to conclude my latest encounters with Felix Unger and Oscar Madison.

Well, the tech came over. He was all apologetic and I told him I wasn't upset and he said that the boss was. It took him about 5 min to adjust the down thrust (his words not mine) and he was on his way.  He showed me where the adjustment is. There is a center column between my doors but the openings aren't standard so it requires one 18 foot door. Apparently the door hits the weatherstripping at a certain point and thinks it's hitting something so it goes back up.
I think the reason it worked all week is that it was warm out, the weather stripping was more pliable so it gave when the door got there . Just my thought.   The tech is now on his way home to eat enchiladas.

So now I'm off to the store.  I need the tuna and some things to go with the 2 dozen tamales one of my clients brought me yesterday. Jose is a better tamale maker than the other client I had. These are very very good. He actually brought me 3 dozen because he didn't know how many kids I have, lol. He was shocked when I said nunca. Anyway, I gave a dozen to the maintenance man at the office.  He's going to help me move a desk I'm buying - not in his job description - he was going to do it anyway, but he said if I'm going to bribe him like this, he'll move 2 or 3 desks for me, lol.

Well, Jane, I am the only one who will speak up and say that there are bad habits we have that we need to correct. They all think everything is peachy and are very upset that anyone would think otherwise.

DR Laura - yesterday I heard one of the political candidates (Romney? Huckabee? Ron Paul?) quote the Air Force:

"If you're not taking flack, you're probably not over the target."

It really annoys some people to acknowledge that someone else is doing a good job.

Today's breaking news:
Police believe they have arrested the Chandler Rapist, who has raped five young girls over the last eighteen months.  He would stalk them, learn the family habits, stake out an escape route, and then break into the house early in the morning after the parents left for work.

DR Laura, I find it shocking anyone would yell at you.  I'm glad they at least appreciate your worship leadership abilities.

I've done five pages or so - and since I just ended a chapter, I'll probably at least do a half a page to get into it.  I did one page more than I was intending yesterday, so I'd still be keeping pace.

Greetings to all from Minneapolis/St. Paul!  Half way home!!

The funeral this morning went very, very well.  Groton is a very small community, and during her 96 years, DH's great aunt had a big impact on the town - everyone loved her and turned out.  Anyway, it was a whirlwind visit, but we were very glad we made the effort.  The service was taped, and we were presented with a DVD before we left, so the relatives who couldn't make it can share in the day.

I shall attempt to catch up here tomorrow.

Smooches, kids!   :)

I finally got to the store for the tuna. Boy were the girls happy when I got home. I started chanting tu-na, tu-na as I entered the house and they were turning around in circles purring until I got the lid off the can and some into their dishes. They gobbled it down and are now bathing.  They are happy tonight

I finished DHAN DHANA DHAN GOAL...John Abraham has really been working out, his arms are getting huge.

Now on to Bollywood number two, the 2007 hit film NAMASTE LONDON starring Akshay Kumar as a Punjabi guy in love with a spoiled British born Indian gal.

I love the soundtrack, so I hope to love the movie as well, and I always enjoy Akshay in these types or roles (as opposed to his action hero roles).
