THE MEAT OF THINGS
« on: January 12, 2008, 12:04:19 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were meaty, and now it is time for you to post until the meaty cows come home.   They're currently looking for the meat of things - of course, all they need is a mirror.

I am still kind of bummed out about Chris Bowman and his sad demise....as someone else wrote....not unexpected, but still sad.

I know rock and roll WAS the 50's....but Mancini's Peter Gunn score and that album cover has since it's release MEANT the 50's to me.

They used to always have it as a selection for the Record Club in the TV Guide and other magazines....so it was UBIQUITOUS!!!

Good morning, all!  I am up and I have little to report.  I believe I finally found the hook to begin the "Lady of the Slipper" notes and I am feeling happy about the conceit.

And so to work .

Saturday morning greetings!  Today's my first vacation day and DH Richard and I are getting ready for tomorrow's drive to Wisconsin.

Hi, DR TPunk!  It's nice to see you here this morning.

Good morning!

Beautiful, brilliant day here. Crisply cool this morning but definitely not cold for January. Amazing weather we've had already in 2008. I saw new grass peeking out from under some leaves yesterday. Rain and warm temperatures will do that every time!
