I really don't think five nights of Jay Leno at 10 p.m. will be a ratings winner for NBC......  But I could be wrong.

I tend to agree with you, although I do think the show will hurt Conan.

I was hoping DR Vixter would stop in tonight.  I might take a quick look later.

Good Evening!

...And it smells like Christmas Tree in my apartment.

-Which is the "good side".  ;)

So DR JOSE does this have something to do with The Room Mate and The Christmas Tree?

<nod>

Although, I've sort of been feeling antsy all day for no particular, unknown reason.  ???

Conan O'Brien has always seemed very "East Coast" to me.  Does he do well on the Other Coast?

Ooohh!  Do you need a pianist?

We're actually set with a substitute organist.  But I don't know that we could afford you!    :)

Actually... I love "Lessons & Carols", and it's been a while since I've participated in one.  I would have settled for a train ticket and some post-service Christmas cookies.

I have never been able to stomach more than ten minutes of Conan O'Brien.

George - yes, anyone can now license The Brain From Planet X.  Have your group do it and we'll all come see it!

Our director/music director Josh checked out a copy of the CD from the library (which turns 40 today!) and he loves it!  It may happen. :D

Gosh, I wonder where he heard of it.

Flip Cam looks interesting....

I've actually been very surprised at the quality of the resultant videos.  They're basically the size - if not smaller - than a Walkman (the original cassette version), and they're very easy to use: Record, Pause, Stop.  And as for using them for auditions, there are no more DVDs or Super8 tapes to worry about.  The videos can be e-mailed to the main office for immediate perusal and appraisal.

Don't forget to tell about some of the clips on Youtube with the original Los Angeles cast and from some other production whose Yanni is a pale imitation of the original Alet Taylor

Did anyone watch the series finale of Boston Legal?

Very amusing and touching that the series won't be around any more. Gonna miss Spader and Shatner together.

I had an interesting and entertaining evening of viewing. I began by watching the two hour BONES episode that began season four. (The London-based shows; actually, two hour long episodes which Fox aired back to back and which are presented that way on the disc, too.) Entertaining.

I watched another BONES episode, the one where Tempi was dating two men: one for sex and one for intellectual stimulation. The case was interesting, too: a man stuffed down an outhouse toilet.

There is one more episode on the disc that I'll watch tomorrow while I eat lunch.

Next, I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Nada, and nothing in the previews for tomorrow either.

Next, I watched CHUCK which was shown on my local NBC affiliate this afternoon at 2. Very entertaining episode. Gary Cole was great.

And wonder of wonders, it was in HD!

Monday night's HEROES episode is slated to be shown tomorrow afternoon at 2, so I'll be able to watch it tomorrow night. I hope that it, too, is in HD.

Next, on the enthusiastic recommendation of DR S Woody (or was it DR derBrucer?), I recorded LEVERAGE at both 9 and 10. I only watched the 9 p.m. pilot episode, and I did enjoy it. Lots of twists and surprises in the capers, and I enjoyed seeing one of my favorites from ANGEL - Christian Kane - as the team's muscle.

I'll watch the 10 p.m. second episode tomorrow.

I also watched tonight about 40 minutes of P.S. I LOVE YOU, enough of it to know I'd like to see the whole thing. I'll get the DVR to pick up the next showing on HBO-HD.

And I ended my evening with tonight's wonderful ELI STONE. Not as tear-inducing as previous episodes, but I did enjoy it very much.

My only experiences with Jay Leno is when he has hosted shows other then his own. I don't think I have ever seen him on The Tonight Show.

That said, I do think he is sort of funny.

You can skip the rugby.  He does enough posing in his underwear, so you don't have to actually watch the  game!
