GIRDING MY LOINS
« on: December 09, 2008, 12:07:05 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes girded their loins, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're off singing the word "loins" in eight-part harmony.

A good marinade or dry rub works pretty well, too...   [sorry, DR Jane!]

DR Dan (the Man) thank you for the belated birthday wishes.

DR Jose I didn’t know that some webcams come with game options.  I just want to see my children.
MBarnum maybe your mother uses the webcam to see her grandchildren.

No DR TCB.....the IT that I watched starred Mr Roddy MacDowell as an assistant museum curator who came into possession of a Golem.  He also kept his dead mother in a rocking chair in his living room.  He used the Golem to kill his enemies and rob the museum.  But then the movie went a little crazy, and the British army decided they could only destroy the Golem by using a "small" nuclear weapon on it.  Toward the end there were lots of scenes where characters would tell us what had just happened, so I guess the money ran out.....

THE SHUTTERED ROOM was much better only because Mr Oliver Reed in the tightest blue jeans ever seen on screen played the villain who was tormenting beautiful Carol Lynley.  Mr Gig Young drove a fancy Thunderbird convertible and did karate on the locals.
