I think a critter may have found its way into my attic. A squirrel, most likely. I've asked Marvelous Matt to cme over one day and do an inspection.

Anyone had animals in their houses and, if so, what did you do?

My parents had a family of raccoons in their attic. After my mother cursed and even ran outside in the middle of the night to curse at them, they still didn't leave, so she called someone who live trapped them and took them out in the country somewhere or the woods or somewhere and released them.  Then she had the hole they came in fixed

the first time I had a bat in my house, I got my neighbor to get it out.

the second time I had a bat in my house, I screamed bloody murder, finally caught him and threw him out the window where he flew away.

the third time I had a bat in my house, the cats killed it in about 2 seconds flat.

"Fritters In The Attic"

I think that was a Homer & Jethro song.

This is a pretty cool tribute to Ella Fitzgerald.  I guess I should go ahead and finally unwrap and listen to the CD I bought a few months ago that was produced in conjunction with this special.

Critters, Fred, critters. Actually, only one, hopefully.

Hmm... The CD, apparently, is not a recording of the live show.  Hmm... But there is a DVD available.  Hmmm...

Fritters in the attic
And there's nothin' you can do.
Critters on the A-tack
And they're comin' after you.

So load the gun with buckshot
An' grab another chew
Ya gotta show 'em what's what
There's nothin' else to do.

Did Wrestling Women Vs. The Aztec Mummy ever come out on DVD via Image Entertainment?  I have check discs on it and several other Mexican horror films, but I'd heard there was some problem and that they might not be released.

Well, I'm not surprised.   If you have fritters in your attic, fritters are known to attract a squirrel or two.

What a partay.  Already to page sixteen, and it's the shank of the evening, oh, yes, it's the shank of the evening.  I would not want to watch There Will Be Blood on New Year's Eve.  Of course, if it's playing with Sweeney Todd on a double bill, the marquee will read Sweeney Todd There Will Be Blood.

I heard Keith laughing in the other room, then he sent me link

I hope DR MBarnum won't find this news too upsetting.

Well, I guess the Hindu appellation John Abraham is English for Princess Tinymeat.

DR MBarnum, all I can say is, dream on, Alice, and find a new Wonderland.

I do recall Cillaliz's stories about the bats now. I had a bat once. Long ago and far away...I bought a house in San Diego County. It was on a hillside, on a lovely 2-lane road. The City decided the road needed to be wider and, in the process of expansion, cut down many trees. Lots of wildlife live in trees. One was the Bat Who Came to Visit. He flew into my bedroom. It really freaked me out. I couldn't persuade him to leave. Eventually a friend came over and got him. It was not a pleasant experience.

No, I do not place fritters in the attic. I'm told that the Critter Control people use peanut butter to bait the guys.
