I don't remember the Emmy's ever being shown live on the West Coast.

I am wondering if woman's hair styles are ever going to be beautiful again?

Some of these very attractive ladies look like they slept in their hairdos.

Matthew, an African American is certainly an interesting choice for the role of Joe.

Good evening.

I'm watching the Red Carpet show too.  Ed  O'Neill is  funny.

Ah...apparently the doc awards were given out earlier, and the Mercer doc didn't win. No big surprise, and I'm kind of glad that it didn't get any kind of shoutout to the non-team players on national TV. Schadenfreude, I guess...

Please, let's have loads of lovely EMMY reports as I have no intention of watching.  I ate a foot-long spicy Eyetalian sub - haven't been there in over four months, I think.  It was very good indeed.

I've finished the liner notes, set one.  I'll start set two tomorrow, probably.

I feel a little left out, not being at home while the rest of the family is getting together, but if I had gone, I would have gotten no rest and lots of stress, so I'm glad I didn't go, but it's a little sad nonetheless

I know the feeling.

Thanks Jane, I'm actually feeling better, it was a fleeting moment, it's over now

Yup, we can't ponder on it too long. :)

The previous CD release of our show title not only was a remix attempting to match the original album mix, which wasn't good, it had no notes at all, just what was on the LP.  So, this package will be a really nice new version of the entire thing - LP mix, new mix, and extensive liner notes with a good amount of photographs.  I'm hoping that even people who have the previous release (now oop and quite pricey) will want this for the clarity of the new mix, the original mix, and a little history of the show.

DR MATTHEW is exchanging emails with Don Black.....who also wrote the lyrics to Elmer Bernstein's rousing score for "Where's Jack?"

I didn't think those clips were very funny for comedy.  If that's what I knew about the shows, I wouldn't watch any of them
