Work has been very busy

I have several files coming to closing

My Boss is still in Florida so I have several calls plus constant emails with him, plus emails and phone calls with our clients, title companies, attorneys, borrowers, etc etc

And we’re busy trying to figure out how to conduct these closings remotely

Plus I’m also playing receptionist

[vixmom]

But I’m happy to be working and getting a paycheck.

After work today I ended up dozing off again

People are idiots - speak up, tell them to move away.  But unless they're six feet from you, they're not giving you anything, mask or no mask.  And answer this one: This has been going of for three weeks now - I have yet to hear a single person cough or sneeze on the occasions when I've been outside.

When they are exercising they breathe more heavily.  Just now we went for a short walk and dropped way back from the guy that blew his nose onto the sidewalk.

If you were walking near me you would hear sneezing & coughing-lol.  I keep telling Keith I will cough on the next group that gets too close.

As for the six feet, that is the point.  We are lucky if they are 3 feet away.  There are simply too many of those idiots to yell at everyone.  Keith finally insisted I stop yelling at the bicyclist that speed by close enough to feel a breeze.  If I couldn't stop them in normal times how on earth am I going to stop it now?

I don't go anywhere near people or I stand at a proper distance. 

You obviously are not on a semi popular walking path and have fewer neighbors out.  Actually the neighbors & regular walkers on the path are fine.  It is everyone else that are a problem.

Friday evening greetings!  I spent most of today at my craft desk making Easter cards.  Richard and I ventured out to a drive-thru for fish sandwiches and came right home.

So, if the next recommendation is that if you go out you must wear galoshes, a leather pantsuit, and hold a can of Lysol in front of you while doing the Texas two-step, will you do it just because you're being told to?

We were already considering masks for the market.  I didn't initially because I wanted the health care people to have masks.  Since there is no way to know if I have the virus the considerate thing to do it try to prevent sharing it.

Today we watched an emotional interview with a woman who's 42 year old, very healthy husband, just died from the virus.  She was speaking up to tell people to practice proper distancing and stop getting together with friends. 

Even the interviewer started crying.

He was a popular school principle and there were lots of people in their cars, holding signs and driving down their street.

Well he owns 2 homes, one here , one there.  His wife stays there all winter and he travels back and forth, 3 weeks here, three weeks there...when this hit he was just due to come back, we urged him to stay put and he agreed

If you sneeze or cough and don’t have a mask, you can infect things around, or you cough into your hand and then touch something...the person who comes by 5 minutes later touches what you touched, touches their nose or eye and the virus can be transmitted. 

You never came within 6 feet of each other, never saw each other.

The mask is not to protect you, it’s to protect others from you.

The goggles are to keep you from touching your eyes...glasses wearers already have that as a reminder.

My mom has been having a sore throat and body aches, the past couple of days she had heaviness in her chest.   My sister in law took her to be tested yesterday

Well he owns 2 homes, one here , one there.  His wife stays there all winter and he travels back and forth, 3 weeks here, three weeks there...when this hit he was just due to come back, we urged him to stay put and he agreed

I am sure he would rather be with his wife.
